EU-Russia Aviation Cooperation: Russian Experts' View ««Special video conference with focus on the Russian Federation
Residence Palace, Passage Room, Rue de la Loi 155 - Bloc C, Brussels
The postponement of the EU-Russia Aviation Summit in Moscow came at a time when the Russian and the European aviation industries were in a period of rapproachment. Russia announced vast investments in resurrecting its aviation industry and companies from the EU are looking forward to forge joint ventures with their Russian counterparts. The Russian civil aviation market is said to have enormous potential for growth due to coming of age of existing fleets, a growing demand in tourism and the rise of importance of the Russian regions.
In order to bridge the gap until the next EU-Russia Aviation Summit is held Dialogue Platform: Brussels-Moscow and RIA Novosti are presenting a special video conference with focus on the Russian Federation.
In form of a video conference we have asked our top-level panellists in Moscow and Brussels to share their views on the situation of Russian Airlines and the Russian Aviation industry within the framework of the EU-Russia aviation cooperation.
They were joined in Moscow and in Brussels by a high-level audience from the aviation industry and business, which had (together with a number of selected journalists) the opportunity to address the panellists in a Q&A session.
